Public Health Services work in partnership with individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities to promote and protect health, prevent illness and achieve well being. A team of public health nurses, nutritionists, dental hygenists and health educators work together to deliver a wide range of information and services to our communities, including: immunization programs, prenatal classes, vision screening, dental health, nutritional health, tobacco awareness, communicable disease control and much more. The program is a shared service of Colchester East Hants Health Authority, Cumberland Health Authority and Pictou County Health Authority
